So the day before yesterday I went out for a run. Gorgeous day, so excited to run in shorts again, enjoying the great weather. Playing with my radio app, then the song "Thrift Shop" comes on. I'd never really listened to the lyrics before, (and mind you, these were the CLEAN lyrics, not the foul-mouth original ones that I found when I googled it and thought, oops! not gonna copy-paste those bad boys!!!!) and I started cracking up as I jogged along. I normally switch stations when I hear that song, I'm not into rap and that sax line is annoying. But this was just so funny....
....because...I LOVE THRIFT SHOPPIN'!!! and it just so happened that I had just gotten back from doing that very thing at the Goodwill which is so conveniently located on my carpool route! So after dropping the kids off at school, I'm in there rummaging through everyone else's smelly hand-me-downs, innocently seeking out some good deals on clothes for my kids who keep growing too fast, when I start getting distracted... (as usual)
Just couldn't say no to this cute little dress....
....and these awesome shoes!!! They rock!!! Both for less than breakfast at Starbucks!!!
Soooo...nothing deep to talk about today. Just showing off my treasures. (and my weird feet, ooh, vulnerability hangover coming on here....) :)
