    Feeling artsy today.

    Pull out some art supplies, decide to try a still life. 

  

   These old roses from mother's day will work fine.
   

 

     As I get started, I learn two things. First, that I am way too impatient for these

     realistic drawings.  I'm better at fast, abstract, sketchy stuff.  Especially hard to

     be patient, detail-oriented & meticulous when I'm 

     on my second pot of coffee,

     listening to crazy Latin Merengue dance music,

      & itching to go for a run before it gets too hot.

      (ok, now it's Ratt's "Round and Round", but still....)

    

    

     The second thing that I learned, or observed is...

      These white and red roses, how very interesting...

      Why is it that only the 

      Dead Red flowers droop

      while the Dead White flowers still stand????

      Interesting.

     White flowers still standing, unaffected... (do they not have feelings?)    

      

   

    Red flowers drooping, cannot show their faces.

    Wow.

    I know which rose I am.

    

    

     Hope brings color.
